Downton Abbey Inspired Wedding-Buhl Mansion

Sharing this Downton Abbey inspired wedding on the blog today! GUYSSS this is a themed/inspiration wedding pulled of right! Joni and Jamisen came to me last year and talked about their idea of having this Downton Abby themed wedding. I never watched the show but I was immediately excited to document their day, especially since this wedding was very unique and the venue matched their idea so well! Their ceremony and reception was held at the Buhl Mansion . They rented the property out so family and guests could enjoy the Buhl Mansion. This place is filled with hidden gems in every corner. The Mansion was the perfect place for Downton Abbey inspired wedding. Joni and Jamisen got ready in designated room inside the Mansion. They decided on a first look so they had time to get photos before the ceremony. This way they had time to enjoy their cocktail hour!  We took photos all around the venue since it had so much to offer. Then their ceremony took place on the back lawn with the mansion behind them. The reception was split indoors and outdoors under a tent. They had a salad bar and a taco bar! Then instead of cakes they decided  on a crepe station. They cut “the crepe” instead of cutting the cake! And I thought that was a unique touch to their day! After all of that they danced the night away and it was a blast to be a part of it all!
